What Our Residents Say
A key part of our Quality Program is to get feedback from our Residents. We do this through regular surveys of our residents on all aspects of their life in our homes. These surveys enable us to focus us on continuous improvement and get input directly from the residents. These surveys have resulted in many new initiates being undertaken such as more varied activities, suggested changes in our daily menu’s, trips to external attractions, more community involvement, and the introduction of a grandparents day.
Our Director's of Nursing are always available to meet with residents and their families and we pride ourselves on our committment to open communication at all times.
We encourage our Resident's to form Residents Committees; these are an independent organised group of people living in our homes that meet on a regular basis. They discuss issues and suggest improvements, develop services and plan social activities and improve communication.
We also have a Relatives Forum; this is a similar group to a Residents Committee but consists of relatives.
