St. Doolagh's Park is a purpose built care & rehabilitation centre situated in park land setting off the Malahide Road, in Balgriffin Dublin 17, close to Malahide Village and Swords. Close to the last exit of the M50 motorway, the airport and the M1 Motorway and a regular bus service is provided at the entrance to St. Doolagh's Park.

St. Doolagh's Park is a specialist care centre that provides long-term and short-term residential care and rehabilitation.

On the ground floor we provide specialist care for adults with acquired brain injury (ABI) who are under the age of 65 years, once they are discharged from hospital, medically stable and require secondary rehabilitation or long-term care. Many such individuals continue to experience physical, cognitive, emotional and social interpersonal difficulties and find it hard to identify skilled personnel who can help them with the next step in moving forward.

On the first floor we provide long-term care for adults whose primary diagnosis is an acquired brain injury and require medium to long-term care. We care for residents over the age over 40 years who are medically stable but have ongoing medical needs and may have slow or medium rehabilitation requirements.

At St. Doolagh's Park we meet the needs of our residents by providing them with the highest level of person centred care and service.  Our multi-disciplinary team devises an individual care and rehabilitation plan with each resident as appropriate to ensure the achievement of both the highest level of care and personal outcome measures.  The team includes a Neuro-Psychologist, a Physiotherapist, a G.P., Occupational Therapist, registered General and Psychiatric Nurses, Behavioural Specialists, and Rehabilitation Assistants.  We also have as part of our team a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist.

St. Doolagh's Park has 72 single suite bedrooms that are fitted with bespoke furniture, a wireless call bell system and private telephone.  All rooms have been designed to afford easy access and facilitate assisted showering where required.  Residents are encouraged to bring in personal items which will ensure their stay with us is a happy one. All our residents have the right to privacy and are treated with the utmost respect and dignity.

We also provide assisted daily living training facilities, gymnasium, games room, communal areas and smaller lounge areas to facilitate a homely and supportive environment.

Special emphasis is placed on the individual happiness and dignity of our residents.  Friends and family are always welcome and we run regular family groups.

Referral to St. Doolagh's Park can be made by any party, e.g. self referral, family, HSE, social workers.

Our commitment to continuous improvement means residents benefit from an ongoing Quality Program, one that is person centred and needs driven. St. Doolagh's Park has been awarded the EIQA Quality of Care Standard for Nursing Homes, an independent quality accreditation based on stringent quality and hygiene standards.
