Short and long term ABI Care (Acquired Brain Injury Care)

In our St Doolagh’s Care & Rehabiliation Centre we provide specialist care for adults with acquired brain injury (ABI) and other neurological conditions once they are discharged from hospital, medically stable and require secondary rehabilitation or long-term care. Many such individuals continue to experience physical, cognitive, emotional and social interpersonal. 

Our team includes:

• Neuro-Psychologist
• Physiotherapist
• G.P.
• Registered General and Psychiatric Nurses
• Occupational Therapist
  
• Behavioral Specialists
• Rehabilitation Assistants
• Consultant Psychiatrist
• Consultant speech and language therapist

Care can be provided on both a short term basis when a patient is released from hospital or rehabilitation centre or on a more permanent basis as required.  Many such individuals continue to experience physical, cognitive, emotional and social interpersonal difficulties and find it hard to identify skilled personnel who can help them with the next step in moving forward.
