February Newsletter
Welcome to February 2010! This month, we shall be celebrating Valentine’s Day, by having a Valentine Raffle and all proceeds will go towards to our Activity Fund! The prize will be a beautiful Gift Basket containing Valentine Goodies, displayed at Reception. Tickets cost €5 for three lines, please buy them from Reception or our Activity Co-Ordinators, Barbra and Crystal.
Day Trip
We will be having another Day Trip Out to the Highlanes Art Gallery, Drogheda on Friday 19th of February. The cost is €5, which includes admission, tea/coffee and scones. Please let the Activity Co-Ordinators know if you wish to attend this trip!
Residents' Committe
Our next Residents’ Committee Meeting shall take place on 11/02/10 @ 3pm in the Jameson Lounge
And our Relatives’ Support Group shall take place on 11/02/10 @ 7pm in the Jameson Lounge
Invite to our Activity Booklet Launch!
We shall be launching our new Activity Booklet on Friday 12th of February. There will be a 15 minute promotion on each unit with Director of Nursing Bridget Brassey, followed by tea, cake and Billy’s famous Singalong!

A Date for your Calendars……
SONAS Programme on Beech Unit
We shall now be embarking on a three day week SONAS programme. A schedule will be posted up in Beech Unit Day Room.
A copy of the Fortnightly Activities for each unit shall be posted up on our Notice Boards.
A monthly Calendar of Events will also be posted on our Notice Boards.
Mass
Father Rory O’Leary will host an Anointing Mass, on the 1st Saturday of every month, and will give Communion every Wednesday, and will also hear Confessions for anyone who wishes. Please put your name on our list with Barbra. Father McCabe will host all other Masses.
Our hairdresser Dee will be in the Salon every Wednesday and Thursday.
Chiropodist Service
Our resident Chiropodist;
Alan Ward will come to our Home every 10 weeks for 1-2 days to provide his service. If you wish to avail of his service, please leave your name with the nurse.
