Quality Policy & Accreditation
The Quality Policy of the Guardian Healthcare Ltd. is to provide high quality standards in its Nursing Homes. These standards are achieved by:- Providing Modern Comfortable & Safe Facilities.
- Supporting Residents and their families in decision making.

- Creating a work environment in which staff excels.
- Auditing our services on an ongoing basis.
- The pursuit of quality in all areas.
All of our homes have been awarded the EIQA Quality of Care Standard for Nursing Homes.
This is an independent quality accreditation based on stringent quality and hygiene standards.
Outlined below are descriptions of the four critical elements of the standard.
1. Organisational Commitment
The Quality of Care Standard encourages the involvement of everyone, with a particular emphasis on the commitment and involvement of management. The Quality of Care Standard enables the nursing home and its management to provide this focus and to ensure that the quality of service provided to residents continues to meet their requirements.2. Employee Engagement
The Quality of Care Standard places an emphasis on high standard of care delivery to residents. Motivated people are the catalyst for superior standards of care, for driving improvements and for consistently meeting the needs of residents.3. Support Systems and Processes
The Quality of Care Standard provides the framework for critical care systems and processes to be continually developed and to add value to the care home, and improve results.4. Quality of Life
The principal thrust of The Quality of Care Standard is continuous improvement in the quality of life for residents of the Nursing Home. The Quality of Care Standard requires factual evidence to ensure all key components that create a good quality of life for residents are available and successfully deployed. These key components include a review of activities, a review of medical care and available expertise, the home from home environment and hygiene, safety and nutrition. The outcome is the delivery of a superior Quality of Life for Nursing Home residents.Guardian Healthcare is committed to a continuous improvement in our quality standards and we will continue to seek accreditation to all appropriate quality awards.
